a yoga-informed approach to facing
and adapting to life’s changing currents

Yoga means Union
Union of Body, Breath, Mind, Purpose, and Community

Resiliency is the ability to
withstand adversity and bounce
back from difficult life events.

The yoga practice teaches ethics, observances, and methods
that develop our capacity to adapt. Yoga challenges the mind, excites the body and the breath, while calming the soul. It pushes us to study ourselves and realize true potential. It teaches us compassion and purpose.

Yoga is the vehicle, consistency is the pathway, and contentment the destination. Resilience is the gateway to contentment.

Community Service is a central concept in the Yoga practice, and a Keystone of Resiliency Yoga.

Seva (सेवा) - selfless service to others, to community, without expectation of reward

Yoga challenges us to heal ourselves, while working to uplift the people around us. We can deepen our own spiritual practice by serving the needs of those in our community. The truth is that one person cannot truly be free until all people live in freedom.

Working to build resiliency in the community is an act of compassionate service.

How will you SHOW UP in your community? How will you shine the light for others?

“I am uniquely equipped to live this life,
and to mine it for its gold.”
